One of my favorite episodes of The Office is the Fire Drill episode, it was shown after the super bowl a few years ago. Dwight goes to great lengths to stage a fake fire to see how the office would respond.
Today, we got an e-mail from the building management about a fire drill happening this afternoon. It reminded me of last years fire drill. Somehow, we didn't get notified it was a drill and when the alarms start going off, no one in our office did anything. Marni and I panicked and then amidst screeching sirens, Cristobal wanders out of his office casually and tells us not to participate in the drill because it "takes away from work productivity."
We'll see how he responds this year....
